ਜੇਤਾ ਊਡਹਿ ਦੁਖ ਘਣੇ ਨਿਤ ਦਾਝਹਿ ਤੈ ਬਿਲਲਾਹਿ ॥
Jaethaa Ooddehi Dhukh Ghanae Nith Dhaajhehi Thai Bilalaahi ||
The more they fly around, the more they suffer; they burn and cry out in pain.
ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਉਹ (ਉਤੇ) ਉਡਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹੁਤਾ ਉਹ ਕਸ਼ਟ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ ਸਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੜਦੇ ਤੇ ਰੋਂਦੇ ਹਨ।

Without the Guru, they do not find the Mansion of the Lord's Presence, and they do not obtain the Ambrosial Fruit. ||2||
ਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਬਾਝੋਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਮੰਦਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਸਦਾ, ਨਾਂ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਆਬਿ-ਹਿਯਾਤੀ ਮੇਵੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਸਲ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ।
